Daniel McBeth

President

McBeth, former 1st Vice President, assumed the role of Acting President following the passing of the late Raymond De Bellotte. In addition to his WCDF leadership role, he serves as President of the Guyana America Economic, Social & Cultural Association.

McBeth’s introduction to dominoes began in childhood, thanks to his grandmother, who encouraged him to play as a fun and engaging way to learn numbers. She believed the game would make numbers more approachable while fostering skills in counting and pattern recognition. What began as a teaching tool quickly grew into a lifelong passion.

After relocating to the United States, McBeth stepped away from other sports to focus entirely on dominoes. Today, as President of the Sheffield Sports Club, he remains deeply engaged in the sport — playing almost daily and using the game as a way to connect with people from all walks of life.

Oswald Billey.png

Oswald Billey

Public Relations Officer

I was born in British Guiana, South America—now known as the Cooperative Republic of Guyana 🇬🇾. From a young age, I developed a deep love for games like dominoes and Wist, and as I grew older, I continued to play both at a highly competitive level. I represented Team Ace High (AH) and the Georgetown Public Hospital team in Guyana before migrating to the United States nearly four decades ago.

Upon settling in the USA, I remained actively involved in competitive dominoes, playing with and against numerous teams throughout Brooklyn, New York; New Jersey; and Maryland, among others. I also served as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Guyanese American Ambassadors Association.

Today, with more time at my disposal, I am fully committed to serving to the best of my ability. I am a proud member of the GAESCA Dominoes Organization. In August 2025, while in Antigua at the WCDF Annual General Meeting I was nominated and subsequently elected as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the World Council of Domino Federation (WCDF), I felt deeply honored. It is a privilege to serve this remarkable organization. Today, I can proudly say that the sky is my limit—I am confident that together, we will reach the sky. He can be contacted directly at publicrelationofficer@ourwcdf.com
